Here is my first attempt at a High Dynamic Range (HDR) photo. This shot was done in 3 exposures and they were blended together with HDR Efex Pro. This allowed me to get the things up close and the sky all in focus which camera’s can’t do very easily. I plan on doing many more of these. Let me know what you think.

My wife showed her artistic ability and drew me a birthday theme on our chalkboard wall in the kitchen. I didn’t do any post processing except for cropping in fear of ruining her artwork. Thank you for the wonderful birthday honey!

Here is a nice looking orange flower. I tried to bring the color out with some post processing. This was shot on my brand new Nikon D7000. I’m still learning the features of this camera.

I am once again watching my calorie intake on a daily basis in an effort to drop a few more pounds. Of course I’m working out as well. However, It’s hard when I see these treats in the cabinet. While salivating over these cookies, I was also looking for something to photograph for this project. I arranged them, got a little chocolate on my fingers and needless to say, one of these bad boys was KIA. 70 calories of sweet goodness. Do you know the name of this cookie?

It appears that my wife went to Kohl’s again 😉 This is her favorite store. This sun flower was on our entertainment center, but I’m not sure how long it’s been there. 😉 That’s all good and it made for a good photo.

Ok, so near the end of the day I was actually bored at work for the first time. So I started looking for things around me to photograph. I see people sometimes with 5 to 10 keys on their key rings. I just have this one. It’s very easy to carry in your pocket and if I lose it, it’s the only one i need to replace.
