After a long day at work, I came home and relaxed for a bit on our brand new hammock. The weather was warm but had a cool, almost like sea breeze in the air.

Tonight was my son’s move from a Tiger Cub Scout to a Wolf. He’s smiling from cheek to cheek.

Had some game time with my kids today. We played a game we just got the other day called Thin Ice. Each player puts a wet ball on a thin tissue without breaking it. It was fun so I captured the moment.

My daughter (5) and my wife (??) planted a variety of seeds into some dirt and placed it on the deck. It now looks like something is actually growing. Not the prettiest picture, but definitely worth capturing.

I like taking photo’s of assorted colors. Along with a lot of color, these candies are very tasty. Can you guess what these candies are called? Sorry, no hints today 😉

I took the artsy route for this one. Let me know what you think this is a photo of. Now I did major post processing, so I will string you a long on this one. 😉

So I was parked outside of our local auto repair shop waiting for my wife to drop her car off. So I thought i would take an iPhone photo of my steering wheel. To be honest, it’s not a very exciting picture. I won’t lie to you, or should I say, I won’t steer you in the wrong. 😉

Ok, so my kids got a small rubber lizard that was about 2″ long. We squeezed it into an empty 2 litter bottle and filled it up with water. Now the thing is the size of the bottle. So what I was thinking was to bring this out sea and drop it into the ocean with a note inside as well saying:

Dear Friend, please take care of my pet lizard as I have been stranded on a desert island and cant take care of it any more. His name is Larry the Lizard and he loves it when you sing 80’s ballads. Thank you my friend for taking on this responsibility.

This is another one that I thought looked cool. Unfortunately there were only two photo’s out of about 150 that I liked. However, I learned a lot and I think I’m ready for the actual bigger fireworks that will be on July 1st.

Ok, so I’m not the best at photographing Fireworks…. Yet ;). Right not I am learning to shoot at night with manual settings. None of this auto exposure setting stuff you see in point and shoot cameras. Not that they’re bad, photography is an art/science. Anyways, if you have any tips for me or any comments, please let me know. I think I will have a couple more of these in the coming days.
