Day 289/365 – Photo at Pet Store
While at the pet store the other day with the family, my daughter wanted me to take a photo of this little guy who liked to stand on his back legs.
Day 288/365 – Crabs
Today we bought out kids their first real pets. A couple of hermit crabs. The green one is Jenna’s and she calls it Beauty. The longer one is Ryan’s and he named it Scortch.

Day 284/365 – Leaves Are Changing
The trees are getting ready for the winter. The leaves are all grown up and now must leave and join the real world where they turn brown, get raked up, mulched, blown/vacuumed, bagged and sent off to the local landfill. What a life.
Day 283/365 – Field
I tried to get a little artsy without any post processing. This is tall grassy area at Watson Pond in Marlborough MA. Let me know what you think.
Day 282/365 – Change Is Good!
My daughter piled up some change that she has been saving and called me over to take a photo of it. She wanted me to use the photo for today’s shot. So I did!
Day 281/365 – Easy Money
Today we noticed our neighbors across the street putting stuff out for a yard sale because they are moving. I started to see swarms of cars stopping to check it out, so I figured they must have put a classified ad in the paper, which they did. I then said to myself, “Self, if you put all the stuff that we planned on selling at the procrastination yard sale (so I called it), I wouldn’t have to pay for advertising.” So that’s just what I did with the help of my family.
This is the photo of some of the money we made during this few hours of bargaining.
Day 280/365 – An Autumn Night’s Moon Over Massachusetts
I could take photo’s of the moon all night. If you have a digital SLR camera or any other camera with manual settings, here are the settings I used: ISO 250, 300mm, f/20 1/100 sec.
I also used a tripod and a remote shutter release switch to reduce any shaking.
