Day 249/365 – My Peanut Holding A Peanut
Here is a photo of my daughter (aka: Peanut) holding a peanut.
Day 248/365 – Experimenting
Besides the fact that I am running out of ideas for photos, I started messing around and experimenting with shutter speed. Keeping the shutter opened for a longer time can create cool effects. This one I pointed at my neighbors lights across the street and moved my camera in a figure eight motion while the shutter was opened. I kept the shutter opened for 3 seconds. Maybe I’ll do some more experimenting and try some much cooler shots.
What does this photo look like to you?
Day 247/365 – Mmmmmm, Fruit Salad
My wife made a yummy fruit salad so I thought I would share it with all of you.
Day 246/365 – Our Dog’s Profile
Here is a photo I took with my iPhone of our dog’s profile.
Day 245/365 – Wooded Area
I did a lot of post editing on this one. Using digital photography as an art, a lot of post processing is sometimes necessary, and is also fun to do.
Day 244/365 – Pond View
I focused on the plant life in the water and tried to capture the color of the sky as it reflected on the water. The trees in the background were deliberately blurred.
Day 243/365 – Falling Leaf
I liked the way the water drops reflected the bright sun. Look carefully, it’s there. This is the same place I took the Day 242 shot.
Day 242/365 – Tree’s at Watson Park
I re-visited Watson Park in Marlborough, MA. and took some more photo’s. The sun was really bright and I saw what looked like a perfect shot with the sun and trees. Let me know what you think. And yes, the sun flare was planned. 😉
Day 241/365 – Power Lines Scenery
I drive by this on the way to work all the time. Today I figured I’d stop and get some photos. I don’t think there’s usually water here although at one point I think this was a stream, but I’m not sure. The water must be left over from Irene.
Day 240/365 – Road After Irene!
After the rain calmed down today I took a ride through a couple of towns to see the kinds of damage Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene caused for the local area. I got a lot of photo’s of downed trees, but I think I have seen enough of those on Facebook, Twitter and the news today. So I just took this photo of a road. You can tell something happened because the road was covered in leaves. This was pretty much every road in town. I then made the photo black and white for dramatic effect and softened it up a little to blur it. Ok, well the blur may be because I wasn’t focused perfectly, but you get the “picture” (pun intended). Let me know what you think. I took some risk to make it a little artsy. I hope you like it.
