With the help of my wife, and two children, we did some yard work that included weeding and putting down mulch. I took this picture to mark the day that we all worked together pretty much issue free 😉 Look at all these colors in this photo.

After a long day at work, I was home laying down in my driveway, because that’s what we do and I noticed there was only one cloud in the sky. It was originally shaped as a heart, but by the time I got my iPhone on and got he app open, it lost that shape. But I did manage to get a good lighting effect from the sun on the left. Maybe a little lens flare, which I think is cool looking.

I was driving home today after running a quick errand so I started up my camera app on my iPhone looking for something to take a quick shot of. Sure, texting/surfing the internet and driving is illegal, but I was doing neither. When will they have a no photo taking law while driving?

I edited this photo like crazy, but I think the final product looks good. Let me know what you think.

They say pin stripes make you look thinner, so I added some to this shadow photo of me 😉 There’s a little humor for you to last the rest of the week. I took this with my iPhone and edited with the 100 Cameras in 1 iPad app. Great app by the way! I miss my Nikon D40! 🙁

Here is the final shot of the flowers at my parents. I can’t wait to get my DSLR back so I can take some landscape photos that my iPhone just can’t do very well.

I took a few shots of flowers at my parents house today. I will post one a day for this sub-project. Here is the first one I selected. Since my DSLR camera is still in the shop, I used my iPhone for this. The key to taking a good photo with an iPhone is having plenty of light. Being outside using the sun’s natural light helps the iPhone tremendously. I am really getting into post processing, so I sharpened this up, and brought out some of the color. Let me know what you think.

Here is a photo of my daughter as she looks out the window at the beautiful day. We went out and the kids had a blast. I thought this photo was pretty neat and making it black and white added so much to the composition.

Here lies a bagel. It didn’t stand a chance against the enamel of my daughters teeth and the neglect thereafter. If only I got there a little sooner, I could have eaten the rest of it. Now once delicious bagel covered in this buttery substance, may you rest in pieces as you journey through my sink’s garbage disposal.

Today was a perfect day to cook burgers on the grill. As I was cooking, I figured I would take a snap shot of the thermometer on the front of the grill. 500 degrees? Wow that’s hot! I got so close to the grill with my iPhone that I thought it was going to melt out of my hands.
