Project365
Day 96/365 – Fan Lights
I was messing around with manual camera settings and I came up with this shot. I am no pro when it comes to the manual settings, so I plan on making a lot of mistakes. I will master this thing. You will notice that the shot is a little grainy. That part is not a mistake. As PeeWee Herman used to say “I meant to do that”.
Day 95/365 – What’s Cooking?
My wife amazes me sometimes. She felt sick all day and still had the energy to cook me this awesome dinner after I finished work today. This meat is wrapped in bacon and came with a side of cheese covered potatoes. Might not be the healthiest dinner, but it was so delicious!
Day 94/365 – Variety of Bandages
When you have kids it’s 100% necessary to have bandages of all shapes, sizes, colors and patterns. The only problem is when the adults need to cover an ouchy or a booboo we are usually stuck with something like these. I think I actually had a Dora The Explorer bandage on at one point.
Day 93/365 – Please Pass The Dinner Rolls
These are some very yummy dinner rolls. They are great to make slider sandwiches or to compliment a great meal. Picked them up at our local BJ’s wholesalers. I love their bakery. They are called Crusty Rolls.
Day 92/365 – Stream
While at my sons Cub Scout weekend at Treasure Valley Scouting Resort, him and I went for a hike. He pointed out things to take a photo of. He has good eyes when it comes to this type of art. Let me know what you think.
Day 91/365 – Rock On!
Here are some more pieces of art my daughter created out of the rocks she brings home. Pretty soon I’ll have enough rocks in my house to start a quarry. I’m thankful that I don’t live in a glass house. That might be a pane! Ok no more jokes. Enjoy the photo.
Day 90/365 – It’s Almost Race Day!
I now have my Pinewood Derby car all ready to go. So after the scouts race this Saturday, the parents bring out their cars and have a little fun too. Perfectly weighed in at 5oz, however, I left room for adjustment in case the race day scale is a little off.
Day 89/365 – Welcome Sign
This is a sign my wife bought, probably at Kohls 😉 I always likes this phrase, it says so much with just six words. I remember a sign similar to this at a local restaurant near where I grew up and hung out as a kid.
Day 88/365 – A Zhu Zhu Zoo
No I did not just sneeze into my computer. These toys may seem cute and cuddly. My kids love playing with them. They move around the house bumping into walls and making funny noises. However, it’s not funny at 2AM because someone forgot to shut a sleeping one off. It wasn’t moving around, just making noise. Unfortunately they were all bunched together in a pile on the floor. Trying to figure out which one was making the noise was very frustrating while i was half comatose. I picked one up and pushed the button to shut it off. Well, that is also the on button. So all these noises started happening. Oh the humanity.
Anyways… I hope you enjoy the photo. Next time I shoot a Zhu Zhu Pet, it won’t be with a camera.
Day 87/365 – Blue Jay
I saw this little guy out side our window. I didn’t have time to get out on the deck to take it, so I took the shot right through the windows and screen. Surprisingly enough, it came out alright. Let me know what you think. I will get more shots of wildlife when the weather gets a little warmer.
