Day 99/365 – Waning Crescent

I am preparing for the next full moon which is on April 19. It’s going to be a fun photoshoot! Tonight was a Waning Crescent Moon which I actually took right before dusk and adjusted the exposure with some post processing. It’s not a perfect photo, but I am learning which is the most important part of this project.

Day 98/365 – Wow, What A Pane NewPro!

Today was the day. The day we said goodbye to the crappy broken living room windows the developer gave us back in 1998 (when we built this house) and hello to this beautiful picture window. The two installers for NewPro were awesome! I was impressed that they showed up on time, they cleaned up and were generally nice people that knew what they were doing.

Do you have NewPro windows? Let me know how you like them.

Thank you NewPro!

Day 96/365 – Fan Lights

I was messing around with manual camera settings and I came up with this shot. I am no pro when it comes to the manual settings, so I plan on making a lot of mistakes. I will master this thing. You will notice that the shot is a little grainy. That part is not a mistake. As PeeWee Herman used to say “I meant to do that”.

Day 95/365 – What’s Cooking?

My wife amazes me sometimes. She felt sick all day and still had the energy to cook me this awesome dinner after I finished work today. This meat is wrapped in bacon and came with a side of cheese covered potatoes. Might not be the healthiest dinner, but it was so delicious!

Day 94/365 – Variety of Bandages

When you have kids it’s 100% necessary to have bandages of all shapes, sizes, colors and patterns. The only problem is when the adults need to cover an ouchy or a booboo we are usually stuck with something like these. I think I actually had a Dora The Explorer bandage on at one point.

Day 92/365 – Stream

While at my sons Cub Scout weekend at Treasure Valley Scouting Resort, him and I went for a hike. He pointed out things to take a photo of. He has good eyes when it comes to this type of art. Let me know what you think.

Day 91/365 – Rock On!

Here are some more pieces of art my daughter created out of the rocks she brings home. Pretty soon I’ll have enough rocks in my house to start a quarry. I’m thankful that I don’t live in a glass house. That might be a pane! Ok no more jokes. Enjoy the photo.
